Using his knowledge of oil paintings and photography, Guido Daniele creates life-like renditions of wildlife on the surface and contours of human hands.
While most of us know a thing or two about making animal silhouettes using our hands, Italian visual artist Guido Daniele takes animal hand art to a remarkable level of detail. In his series “Handimals,” Daniele combines his knowledge of photography and oil painting to create stunning paintings of various animals such as the bald eagle, chameleon, duck, or swan, using the human hand as a canvas. From eye colors to skin patterns, the detail on each handimal takes about four hours to complete.
