Little Black Bag allows shoppers to strategically swap items they don't want with other users.

Little Black Bag is an online store that aims to bring a bit of excitement to online shopping. LBB allows customers to have three items in their virtual shopping bag at one time. One item is what the user picks for herself, while the two other items are picked by the site using a special algorithm based on your personal style. Some of the brands include French Connection, Benefit Cosmetics, Betsey Johnson, and Kenneth Cole.

Users are given three to seven days to swap for the items they don’t like with other shoppers on the site. Members can send and receive requests on items they want to trade. Once trading is over, or you’re happy with the selection of items in your shopping bag, you can then have them shipped.

A member who has been using the service since April, advises newcomers to the site that if they see something they like, then “you want to grab it before somebody else does.” LBB gamifies online shopping and turns it into an intense, trading game. Watch the video below to see how the system works.
