Danish designers show off their collection and set a Guinness World Record at the same time.
You often don’t see a fashion show where models are required to walk for 45 minutes down a catwalk. Just this week, Danish fashion designers have set a new Guinness World Record with the World’s Greatest Catwalk. The event was held on the Avenue of Stars in Hong Kong where 158 models strutted a runway 3.2 km long (1.98 miles).
The event was a collaboration between the Danish Fashion Institute and Hong Kong Fashion Designers Association. The models wore clothes, jewelry and accessories by Danish designers, brands, and fashion students.
Eva Kruse, CEO at Danish Fashion Institute, expressed that, “I was extremely proud when I saw the models walking down the runway with Hong Kong’s skyline as the back drop. It was simply the best of Danish fashion represented in a beautiful international environment.”
