BMW’s ‘The Road Home’ was presented to the brand from its agency Kirshenbaum Bond Senecal + Partners (kbs+), who sourced the footage from video its employees shot on their cameras. The ad compiles more than fifty employees’ videos of them traveling home for Thanksgiving, captured on their iPhones, Android devices, BlackBerrys, and personal cameras. kbs+ edited together a story, set it to an original score, and gave it to BMW as a gift from the agency.
BMW recognized the universal message and human connection of the piece, so they released it online and also plans to air a 60-second version of the spot nationally in the next few weeks. You can check out ‘The Road Home’ below:
