Jodi Harvey-Brown brings books to life through unique sculptures built directly into the text.

Using pages from the very books she draws upon for inspiration, paper-artist Jodi Harvey-Brown brings together the world of literature and visual art into a creation all its own.

Harvey-Brown brings classic stories into the 3-Dimensial realm through her paper pop-up sculptures, depicting scenes and characters from the pages she is using to build her art.

The exciting scenes and captivating characters that ensnare your imagination when reading are physically transported out of the book and onto the pages, as if the flat, 2-Dimensional paper can no longer contain them.

Favorite stories, from Treasure Island to Bambi, are revealed in a whole new light. As Harvey-Brown says,

Books pull you into a new world, while art lets you see it. It made sense to me that these two mediums should come together.

Check out the incredible artwork in the gallery below. She also creates customized pieces if you’d like to see your favorite book brought to life.
