Agency Lets Clients Compose And Broadcast Xmas Tunes On Their Phones

deepblue created a special website that lets visitors connect their mobile devices and use them as musical keyboards.

German communications agency deepblue created a special HTML5 mobile-to-browser experiment to thank their clients and wish them a Merry Christmas. The experiment takes place on the website xmastunes.db-n.com. Then, you are instructed to open http://go.db-n.com on your smartphone and enter the code shown on the screen. This will open up communication between your phone and the web page, allowing you to create a Christmas tune made of the ringtones of twelve devices.

Once your phone is connected, you can use it as a keyboard to compose your tune, by selecting squares on the screen and hearing the sounds play from your computer. When you’ve finished your masterpiece you can share it with friends and colleagues on Facebook and Twitter. You can view the trailer for this Christmas tunes experiment below:
