At Element Hotels, guests can now get a workout in and charge their devices at the same time. Each of its ten hotels’ fitness centers, which are well-equipped and open 24 hours, now has a stationary bike with a pedal-powered generator. Guests can pedal their way to a fully charged smartphone or tablet with a cycling workout at one of the charging stations. Brian McGuinness, senior vice president of specialty select brands for Starwood, said:
