Slated for release on the 13th of December, this new art-focused application will allow users to create paper crafts with the assistance of a 3D preview on their iPad.

The Foldify App, developed by Polish design company Pixle, will bring together the creative ability of digital tools like the iPad with the traditional arts and crafts nature of paper. By choosing existing designs, or creating your own, Foldify users will be able to bring their designs into the 3rd dimension by merely printing them out and folding them up according to the Foldify prescribed patterns.

Foldify’s motto, Create.Print.Fold., lays out the simplicity and possibilities presented by the app. Instead of dealing with the costs of plastic 3D printed objects, users are afforded a creation consisting of little more than paper and imagination.

Check out the video on the Foldify App below, or check out their Facebook page and prepare yourself for days of creating.
