Each week PSFK features many new and innovative apps. To highlight the some of the best, we’ve compiled a roundup of the most interesting and creative apps written about on the site this past week:
Kapture is an app that rewards users for taking pictures of ‘moments’ and sharing them on social networks.
‘Klippbok‘ is a free iPad app from IKEA that lets anyone create digital scrapbooks for their home. Similar to fashion moodboards on sites like Polyvore, users can drag and arrange furniture and accessories to experiment with ideas.
Instabridge is an app from a Swedish startup that makes it convenient for users to connect to a friend’s WiFi network when they’re visiting. We’ve all experienced the frustration of going to someone else’s home and asking for the WiFi network and password — your friend frantically searches for it, and you’re handed a piece of paper with badly scribbled letters and numbers.
Theo Watson and Emily Gobeille of Design I/O have created an app that can visualize skateboard action in real-time. The prototype app, Skataviz, utilizes the iPhone’s gyroscope and accelerometer to map out the path of movement.
