Beer Brand’s Ads Prove It Was Craft Brewing Before It Was Hip [Video]

Sierra Nevada delivers a video that features raw footages of followers and the founder from the 1980s.

Founded in 1980, Sierra Nevada continues to be one of the most popular craft beers. The company started by homebrewers Ken Grossman and Paul Camusi, and has grown over the years to include a strong following of beer connoisseurs. In its latest video, the Sierra Nevada adds a personal touch with raw footages of fans and the founder to communicate the true spirit of the brand.

The clip was produced with the help of Digital Kitchen, a creative agency based in the U.S. The agency wanted to tell a rich and engaging story about the history of Sierra Nevada, as it was an early pioneer of craft brewing. DK explained that one of the challenges was to “build authentic connections with extremely fickle craft drinkers while maintaining existing relationships with loyal customers.”
