As a way to streamline workflows across teams and organizations, social media advertising comapany GraphEffect developed its own platform called SHIFT. Designed as a cross-organizational, social communication platform, SHIFT supports collaboration across multiple parties and companies, through the creation of project anchored virtual spaces that enable all parties to work together.

SHIFT members have company-free profiles; when members change employers or work on freelance projects, their teams may change, but contacts and activities remain linked to their continuous profiles.
