To celebrate its 80th anniversary, Lacoste has created twelve limited edition custom polo kits. One kit will be released every month throughout 2013, with only twelve copies of each available to purchase exclusively on the brand’s Facebook page.
The kits are all inspired by the logo designed by legendary art director Peter Saville for the anniversary. They were imagined as collector objects for those who are able to get their hands on one.
Fans will have the chance to customize a white Lacoste polo shirt using different techniques including painting, sewing, embroidery, flocking, and graffiti.
The first kit, ‘Tribute to René’, became available today for €300. It includes paints and brushes, and the shirt has a design with numbers to instruct you where to apply the colors. You can take a look at it in the video below:
