You’re traveling and forgot to bring an adapter for your charger; normally you’d have to run to the nearest store or risk going phone-free for your trip, but this new ‘Mobile Power System’ called Nectar can charge your device for over two weeks without needing access to a wall outlet.

Developed by Lilliputian Systems, the system aims to transform how consumers keep their power-hungry mobile devices charged. Nectar is compact, lightweight, and portable. It can charge any electronic device that complies with the USB 2.0 power standard, such as smartphones, tablets, e-readers, MP3 players, cameras, etc.

Instead of worrying about running out of power or hunting for a wall outlet, users simply insert a Nectar Pod power cartridge into the system. Once it has been depleted, a new pod can be easily attached, offering another 2+ weeks of power.

Nectar will be exclusively available at Brookstone at the outset and is launching this summer. It will cost $299.99, with Nectar Pod cartridges priced at $9.99 each. Mouli Ramani, VP of marketing and business development at Lilliputian Systems, said:
