STORY’s Wellness Space Promotes A Healthy Mind And Body

STORY, the innovative retail space that reinvents itself every 4-8 weeks, has introduced its first concept of 2013, Wellness. Together with WELLO!, STORY has created an environment that promotes healthy living for both the mind and the body. While many brands promote healthy living in January, STORY goes beyond just offering the latest wellness products to curate an immersive experience that encourages visitors to learn about and adopt a healthier lifestyle.

The products in the store have been curated by three industry leaders, Rachel P. Goldstein, founder of Agent of Change, Courtney Nichols, founder/CEO of SmartyPants, and Liz Heller, founder/CEO of BuzzTone. Together, the women have selected items that promote wellness for the whole body, including fashionable athletic gear and accessories from 51>Inc. and Manduka, natural, organic vitamins from SmartyPants, and Pill01, a pillow designed to improve REM sleep and spinal health.

In-store installations promote movement, including a slide that encourages healthy, active play for children and a ping-pong table that promotes the ‘fun’ side of exercise for adults. The installations and products are also complemented by over 20 in-store events, including yoga and ping pong workshops, cooking classes, and lectures about the effect of exercise on the brain.
