Vetter is an online suggestion box that helps managers get more ideas from their employees by streamlining comments into one continuous feed. The inter-office platform enables users to submit ideas and suggestions, which are vetted, or rated by fellow employees, for approval. Once an idea has been rated highly by fellow users, the submitter of the idea is revealed to the manager and the idea will receive further consideration.
Employees have the option of adding comments to an idea and sharing those comments directly with the manager. In 2012, 94% of employees in firms that used Vetter’s Suggestion System participated in submitting ideas.
