Mobile Stations Can Roll Around To Optimal Working Spot [Future Of Work]
HIVE mobile work units that can be moved to the best location to get work done.
The HIVE workstations by industrial designer Dan Cuffaro are mobile work units on swiveling casters that can be rolled to any location to find the best place to work. Featuring a work surface, storage space, LED lights and customizable panels, HIVES can be clustered near other units when working on group projects, set face-to-face when working with partners, adjusted to take advantage of shifting natural lighting or rolled to a quiet, out-of-the-way location when quiet is required for deep thought.
Studios who used the desk noted how they were able to retain the collaborative culture, yet have private or focused space to get tasks done. The initial order of 32 desks was set up in just over an hour.
