Mercedes has partnered with design firm BoConcept for a SmartCar model that merges trends from both the auto and interior design worlds. The ‘smart fortwo BoConcept signature style’ will be showcased at the BoConcept store in Berlin this week, along with a ‘smartville’ furniture and accessories collection.
BenzInsider reports that the vehicle is based on a smart BRABUS cabrio and features lots of natural materials like felt and leather for the interior. In contrast, the exterior has matte crystal white body panels and accents of matte oriental brown metallic, with lime stripes highlighting the door mirror caps and the BRABUS Monoblock VII alloy wheels.
The ‘smartville’ collection takes it’s cue from the color scheme and themes of the vehicle. It includes a modular sofa, lounge chair, coffee table, tableware, clock, and cushions, amongst other items.
