The annual Super Bowl is not just a sporting event for devout football fans and foodies alike, but also an important yearly milestone for the ad world. It is the day where many agencies spend $4 million to air ads they’ve been working on all year that approximately 111.3 million people will watch (according to 2012 numbers).

The ads are interesting to view as a group, as they are a good measure of the temperature of the TV world and also point to what the minds behind the top brands think Americans are interested in.

We’ve picked ten of the ads that will air during this year’s game that we think will get the biggest applause from fans.

Check out our coverage from the experts as they share their thoughts on what worked and what didn’t on Monday, and watch our Google Hangout on the site, Monday at 2pm EST.
