An eerie message from the undead was broadcast live across several channels in Montana.

In a prank a few months too late for Halloween, tricksters hijacked the regular TV programming of stations in Montana, USA. Members of the public engrossed in shows on The Great Falls affiliate KRTV of Montana TV Network and its CW service suddenly found themselves eye to screen with monsters growling out the fearful message that “dead bodies were rising from their graves.”

The whole episode was, in fact, a hoax, engineered by hackers who managed to repurpose the emergency broadcast function, but network representatives said that there was no cause for concern.
