Camp Grounded is an all-inclusive summer camp for adults. The 4-day sleepaway at Camp Navarro in California is presented by Oakland-based organization Digital Detox. It will take place June 14th-17th and has places for 200 campers at a cost of $245. The camp is described as:

Where grown-ups go to unplug, getaway and be kids again. 200 lucky campers will take over this nostalgic 1970’s boy scouts camp to celebrate what it means to be alive. Trade in your computer, cell phone, Instagrams, clocks, schedules and work-jargon for an off-the-grid weekend of pure unadulterated fun. Together we’ll create a community where money is worth little… and individuality, self expression, friendship, freedom and memories are valued most.

The accomodation is open air cabins with bunk beds, and/or BYOT (bring your own tent). Campers will be assigned to one of nine different villages, and within those villages, men and women will sleep separately. Healthy meals will be provided, which are reminiscent of favorite childhood dishes.

The unplugged activities include typical camp activities and more modern ones, with capture the flag, archery, hiking, baking, stargazing, pillow fights, roasted marshmallows, creative workshops, writing sessions, and yoga.
