Clay Shirky: Why Group Thinking Leads To More Creative Ideas [PSFK 2013]
The author and educator shares his thoughts on the the best way to channel creativity.
Clay Shirky is well-versed when it comes to assessing the impact of the Internet on our society; he’s written two books on the subject and has held posts at institutions like Harvard’s Berkman Center For Internet And Society. He spoke about what he learned from interacting with creatives at PSFK CONFERENCE NYC 2012. Another ‘thought leader,’ Douglas Rushkoff, will be speaking at this year’s PSFK CONFERENCE 2013 on the subject of his book, ‘Present Shock,’ which is concerned about the rise of instant communication and how it has changed our societal narrative.
On April 12, innovators and entrepreneurs like Douglas will speak at our PSFK CONFERENCE 2013, to examine the changes and developments in fields as diverse as marketing and branding, and building the ideal city. Watch Clay’s talk to get a taste of what is planned for this exciting event.
We’re excited to hear about new ideas and concepts in tech, branding and design at the PSFK CONFERENCE 2013 next month! See thought leaders, business innovators and future forward creators April 12 at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in NYC for a day of inspiration and actionable insights.
