In order to demonstrate their curatorial edge, DETAILS put together a men’s accessories show during this year’s New York’s Fashion Week. The show, which was open to the public, showcased a handful of top-notch designers and brands focused in various areas of men’s accessories. This is not unlike what GQ did last year with Open Shop in Nordstrom.

Pop-up tactics like this have become annual milestones for magazines seeking to flex their editorial and curatorial muscle; given the steady growth of men’s fashion, we’re increasingly seeing pop-ups that garner goodwill and trust between brands and male target segments. In this post, we highlight 3 standout examples of the vendors that were at the DETAILS’ accessories show:

Michael Saiger miansai

MIANSAI

Miansai carried one of the most impressive eclectic collection of accessories. This includes anchor-shaped tie bars, hooks for keys, many bracelets with delicate leather, varied colors, and an expansive selection of necklaces. This season’s collection is actually titled The Details Collections and designed by Michael Saiger, Founder and Creative Director of the boutique brand.

LOGAN ZANE

Founded by Greg Cummins, LZ is a luxury brand with great leather selections and a hint of sex appeal. Their collection features bags, belts, jewelry, and other small goods (shoehorn, card holder). Like other designers for men, he focuses on timelessness, where design and quality meet. He’s also developed a reputation by collaborating with Destroy to Rebuild a design blog, vintage-inspired menswear boutique Anchor Division, and A$AP Rocky.

HOOK + ALBERT

If you’re looking for a pop of color, H+A offer vibrant, colorful socks and boldly designed accessories that guarantee a twist to one’s formalwear. We were thoroughly impressed by the wide variety of lapel flowers designs they provide and encourage you to take a look for yourself. Another noteworthy point is their mission to create the world’s greatest socks. Check out this page to see how they’re creating the best fitting dress sock.
