An air tanker drops fire retardant on a large brush fire north of Kernville, Calif., Monday, July 26, 2010. Fire crews fought a 2,000 acre wild fire in the heavy vegetation in Bull Run Creek. Approximately 200 firefighters are battling the fire on the ground with assistance from seven water dropping helicopters and seven air tankers. Several structures were threatened by the fire on both sides of the Kern River.
