The tech giant recently released the technical details of its wearable augmented reality display.
Google has released the tech specs for Google Glass, revealing a little more about what we can expect from the futuristic gadget. It features adjustable nosepads (with extra ones in two sizes) and a durable frame that fits any face.
The high resolution display is said to be the equivalent of a 25″ HD screen from eight feet away. Google Glass includes a built-in camera capable of capturing 5 megapixel photos and shooting 720p video. It has wi-fi and Bluetooth connectivity, 12GB of usable memory, and a full day of battery life.
One of the more unique aspects is that audio will not be transmitted through headphones, but through a bone conduction transducer. The device will also come with a Micro USB cable and charger, and Google writes:
While there are thousands of Micro USB chargers out there, Glass is designed and tested with the included charger in mind. Use it and preserve long and prosperous Glass use.
