Google is testing a same-day delivery service in the San Francisco Bay Area. Google Shopping Express allows consumers to shop online, in a single place, from retailers including Target, Walgreens, Staples, American Eagle and Toys”R”Us/Babies”R”Us.

They can also purchase from locally distinct shops like Blue Bottle Coffee, Palo Alto Toy & Sport, and Raley’s Nob Hill Foods, and will receive their items on the same day. Google planned to offer a similar service in the past, and if this version is a success it could be a big help to consumers and businesses.

Google Re-Tests Same Day Delivery Service

Google Shopping Express is described as being in the “early days” and is currently only available to a limited number of people in the Bay Area. People who live there can sign up to help test the initiative, with early testers receiving six months of free, unlimited same-day delivery.
