A French graphic artist has managed to find a unique perspective of one of the world’s most densely populated cities.  Photographing the city from the ground up – quite literally – he has managed to capture the character of Hong Kong in way never seen before.

Each of the vertical perspectives captures a different element of Hong Kong’s built environment, ranging from the hyper-modern skyscrapers to the overflowing housing blocks of old – all of which are available in a hard-cover book.

In a city where the only place to add more is up, this book is an excellent comment on the culture of Hong Kong and how it operates compared with other metropolises around the world.
