Hudson River Watch Co. has designed nine high quality watches influenced by urban landmarks.
The Hudson River Watch Co. has designed a collection of high quality watches inspired by New York City streets. There are nine unique designs: Sutton Place, Delancey Street, Front Street (in both Silver and Black), Berry Street, Cranberry Street, Milligan Place, Charlton Street, and Fulton Street.
The project started about a year and a half ago when Robert Willis and his wife noticed it was difficult to find great-looking, high quality men’s watches for under $500, so they came up with some unique designs of their own. They learnt about watch-making and selected the best parts and suppliers they could find.
The watches use ETA Swiss movements, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal lenses, surgical-grade stainless steel cases, and are water resistant up to 150 feet. They are packaged in a navy blue case, inside a white box, which features a vintage map of NYC printed inside.
This project is currently raising funds for their first order on Kickstarter, where you can pledge $225 for a watch of your choice. Check out the campaign video below to learn more:
