How much do we really know the items we use everyday in our homes? After hearing about Thomas Thwaites’ experimental Toaster Project, it seems that the answer is…not a lot. Thwaites, a ‘speculative’ designer, set out to create a toaster entirely from scratch, sourcing the appropriate materials and assembling the final product. He spoke about his venture and about the DIY movement at PSFK CONFERENCE LONDON 2010.

On April 12, innovators and entrepreneurs like Thomas will speak at our PSFK CONFERENCE 2013, to examine the changes and developments in fields as diverse as marketing and branding, and building the ideal city. Watch his talk to get a taste of what is planned for this exciting event.

We’re excited to hear about new ideas and concepts in tech, branding and design at the PSFK CONFERENCE 2013 next month! See thought leaders, business innovators and future forward creators April 12 at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in NYC for a day of inspiration and actionable insights.
