Designer Jake Dyson has come out with a floor-standing version of the CSYS LED lamp which he created last year. The CSYS Tall LED light is a slim and compact floor light that uses heat pipe technology to cool the LED and ensure maximum performance that can last for more than three decades.

The CSYS Tall is five times more energy-efficient that the halogen bulb and can maintain its brightness and color for more than 160,000,000 hours or for over 37 years.

The CSYS Tall comes in silver and black. Users can adjust the dimness with the touch-sensitive switch. The floor-standing light also has a  light level memory feature. The floor light can be adjusted in terms of height and light focus. At full beam and height the lamp casts a pool of warm light that is 2.5 meters in diameter. The LED head can also be easily moved and adjusted to the user’s preference.

Dyson will be presenting the CSYS Tall LED light at this week’s International Contemporary Furniture Fair.
