The new GLA car has laser beam headlights that can project videos or images anywhere.
One of the stars that shone bright at this year’s Shanghai Auto Show was the new GLA concept car by automobile brand Mercedes. The key feature that made the car stand out? Headlights that are actually laser beam projectors. These unique headlights can project videos and images anywhere and are sure to make drive-in theater buffs giddy.
Aside from the projector headlights, the GLA concept car also has two HD cameras on the roof rails. These cameras are capable of capturing 3D stills and videos and can be removed and attached on other surfaces.
The car runs on a 208 horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, 4Matic all wheel drive, and a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission. It also has illuminated air vents that change colors depending on the temperature set. The interiors are hand-stitched leather and galvanized aluminum.
