Touch Sensitive Poster Can Be Played Like An Instrument

This piece of paper combines design and function in a musical piece of wall art.

Dutch designers Trapped in Suburbia have just released a poster that doubles up as a musical instrument using a touch-sensitive conductive paint.

Touted to be the first of a series of experiments combining analogue and digital, Sound Poster 1.0 is likely to become more refined over time. Currently you can produce a variety of sounds depending on which of the geometric shapes you touch on the poster – producing something more than noise is the real challenge, however.
