The anonymous ‘Free Help Guy‘ has a six month gap between jobs and decided to “spend that time trying to make other’s lives better, easier, happier and more fulfilled.” He uses a Tumblr to document his journey and has just started hosting #Funemployment Days.

Unemployed? Take A Break From Job Hunting And Make A Difference

He extended an invitation to Londoners who are looking for work to take a one-day break from job hunting to do some good and learn some new skills. Every now and again, he plans to invite anyone currently out of work to join him and fellow “funemployed” people for a day out in central London.

The first event was held yesterday in Golden Square, Soho. Those with an open mind and “some reasonably low expectations” were invited to turn up with a travel card for zones 1 and 2 in London but the actual plan for the day was a surprise.
