YouTube Trends Map Shows What Is Going Viral Across The U.S.

The video sharing site has unveiled a interactive way for users to see what people are watching and watch along with them.

YouTube has unveiled a new Trends Map for viewers that shows what videos are popular in different parts of the country. Currently only available for the U.S., the map is the result of feedback from the Trends Dashboard, as the site works to help people find great videos and channels.

YouTube Trends Map Reveals Popular Videos Across The U.S.

The Trends Map can be customized by gender, age group and type of activity (shares or views). It is interactive as well, enabling viewers to not only see what’s trending where, but also watch the videos.

Are teens in the South watching the same videos as middle-aged folks in New England? Now with the YouTube Trends Map (, you can see today’s most popular videos in major markets across the U.S. You can also see what’s popular with women or men, as well as by different age groups.
