“You always remember your first.” That’s the tagline on Thiswasfirst, a website that consists of a compilation of the first posts on some of the most popular websites on the web.

The collection includes first posts such as the first tweet of Twitter founder and original tweeter, Jack Dorsey, the first post on Mashable by its founder, Pete Cashmore, and the welcome post by Lifehacker editor Gina Trapani. Other websites featured include Engadget, The Verge, Buzzfeed, Amazon, eBay, Zappos, and even The White House.
