Fiat Creates Car-Shaped Fridges

Fiat Creates Car-Shaped Fridges

Smeg and the iconic Italian car brand unexpectedly collaborate on a design project.

Although Fiat and Smeg might have not much in common, the two iconic Italian brands came together to collaborate on a car-shaped fridge. The appliance features the front of a classic Fiat 500 where the bonnet can be lifted up to store items and also activate the headlights.

The fridge has a capacity of 100 liters and comes in the colors of the Italian flag: green, white, and red. The fridge is available via Colette and retails for 6,599 Euros, which is equivalent to around 8,700 USD.

The car company has expressed interest in branching out to furniture designs. The Fiat 500 Design Collection already includes a coffee table, and sofa inspired by the Fiat 500.
