Soylent is a simple and affordable nutritional drink that has everything the healthy body needs. Invented by Rob Rhinehart as a more efficient approach to nutrition, he hopes to use it to reduce the global disparity of health.

Soylent’s current list of ingredients includes maltodextrin, oat powder, whey isolate, grapeseed oil, potassium gluconate, salt, calcium carbonate, creatine, and powdered soy lecithin.

Can A Creamy, Powder-Based Drink Replace All Of Our Meals?

For many people, on many occasions, food is a hassle, especially when trying to eat well. Suppose we had a default meal that was the nutritional equivalent of water: cheap, healthy, convenient and ubiquitous. Soylent will be personalized for different body types and customizable based on individual goals. It allows one to enjoy the health benefits of a well balanced diet with less effort and cost.

Soylent is aimed at people who struggle with allergies, heartburn, acid reflux or digestion, have trouble controlling their weight or cholesterol, or don’t have the means to eat well. It is said to free those who drink it from the time and money spent shopping, cooking and cleaning. It also reduces environmental impact by eliminating much of the waste and harm coming from agriculture, livestock, and food-related trash.

Soylent reached its funding goal in under three hours and every additional dollar raised will go towards improving the formulation, manufacture, and distribution. You can get one week’s supply of Soylent for $65. Check out the video below to learn more:
