Solar System Express has teamed up with biomedical and information technology company Juxtopia to develop a new kind of suit that may allow extreme adventure enthusiasts to free fall from space.

The suit, which they’re calling RL Mark VI, will be designed to withstand extreme temperature and pressure changes. It will also come with an augmented reality display that will show the user’s vital signs as well as the external conditions. The suit will include rocket boosters to help ease the diver’s descent.

The developers are looking to produce the suit in 2016. Initial testing will be done by a robot.

Check out the videos below featuring a press release on the space skydiving suit and a visualization of what space skydiving may look like.
