Artist Nabil Sabio Azadi has crafted and hand-bound a book that is described as “a directory of kind people who will assist travellers passing through their region and bearing this guide.” For You The Traveller consists of names, stories, hand-drawn maps, and telephone numbers for guides around the world.

Hand-Bound Book Offers Locals As World Travel Guides [Pics]

The guides are people from a variety of professions, including metalworkers, farmers, artists, writers, scientists, builders, teachers, designers, and shipwrights.

The book, which is a limited edition of 200, features 144 pages of recycled paper and is covered in rabbit fur. It features black and white drawings etched on the pages using coal, ink, tar and dirt, along with letterpress text. Click through to see images of the travel guide:
