British artist Gerry Judah creates a 100-foot steel sculpture for the 50th anniversary of the brand’s 911 model.
British artist and designer Gerry Judah is known for his automobile-related sculptures that he has created for the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England. His latest arresting sculpture is for the 50th anniversary of the Porsche 911.
The artist created a 100-foot steel sculpture featuring three Porsche models. The sculpture consists of arrow-like structures shooting up into the sky with the Porsche cars attached like arrowheads.
The Porsche models gracing the sculpture include the 2013 Porsche 911, a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7, and an original 1963 Porsche 911.
Judah has been in charge of the sculptures for the festival since it began in 1997. He has created sculptures featuring car models of Ferrari, Jaguar, Audi, Renault, Mercedes-Benz, and Ford, to name a few.
