The Walk Up! alarm clock app forces users to get out of bed to turn it off. Using the iPhone’s built-in accelerometer, it counts the number of steps needed to stop the alarm, which you can set as anything up to 100 steps depending on your need.

Screaming Alarm Requires Snoozers To Walk To Shut It Up

The $0.99 iOS app adds to the experience by offering a screaming male or female voice. There are built-in panic boosts for alarm intensity, animated skins, a doomsday countdown customized to each theme, an optional evil mode that doesn’t allow snoozing, and an easy to follow step-by-step tutorial.

The app also cautions users that cheating will not be tolerated and multiple anti-cheat safeguards are in place. You can check out the Walk Up! alarm clock in the video below:
