We’ve seen a slew of smartwatches pop up in the tech space, and one of the latest to be unveiled promises to ‘have it all.’
With its patent pending Hands On Talk technology and a directional speaker and microphone located at the watch strap, the HOT Watch allows the wearer to answer a call by raising his or her hand to the ear. To end the call, the wearer simply waves his or her hand. A small shake of the wrist rejects a call and knocking or tapping the hand twice dials a pre-assigned favorite number.
Aside from call and messaging features, the water-resistant HOT Watch also includes apps like music, calendar, news feed, a phone finder, a pedometer, calculator, fall detection, and more. The user can access these apps by swiping or tapping on the display.
The HOT Watch can connect to any Android or iOS phone via Bluetooth. All the user needs to do is install the accompanying app on the phone and sync it with the HOT Watch. The watch also comes with a software development kit for custom app creation.
PHTL has already launched its Kickstarter campaign for the HOT Watch and has already raised over 70% of its goal with more than 30 days to go.
