Frogger For Google Glass Makes Wearer Jump To Cross Virtual Streets

The Google Glass app 'GlassFrogger' gets users moving and out of their seats by challenging them to jump to avoid virtual cars and other obstacles.

The Google Glass app ‘GlassFrogger‘ is a fun and interactive game to play on the device. The simple game gets users out of their seats and jumping around, giving them a chance to stretch their legs.

Developed for the Breaking Glass Hackathon, the retro game requires players to jump in the air like a frog to avoid virtual cars and other obstacles, making their way across roads to lily pad bliss.

Harkening back to the old days of gaming, it recreates the classic Frogger on Google Glass and makes it more interactive. It uses the sensors as well as the camera, in order to sense when the player is jumping in the air.

GlassFrogger won the top prize at the hackathon. You can check out the team demonstrating it in the video below:
