Designed for Vitra by Paris-based designers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, ‘Tyde’ is a set of tables which can be easily adjusted for employees who want to be able to stand and sit during the day. The height-adjustable stand-up/sit-down tables are also available as double workstations and conference tables.
Tyde incorporates special features to address the acoustic challenges of open plan offices, including a quiet electric height adjustment motor concealed beneath a sound-absorbing cover. The newly developed screens in acoustic polyester fleece work effectively with the cover to dampen ambient noise.
The workstations are available in various sizes and three height adjustment options: an electric motor for stand-up/sit-down tables and a hand crank or manual locking mechanism for seated versions. Technical beams, screens, CPU holders and other accessories allow them to be customized further. Click through to see pictures of Tyde:
