Writer Dave Nuttycombe updated some historical photos, making them appear as if they were taken with an iPhone and have had filters added.
Writer Dave Nuttycombe, a mainstay of the alternative weekly Washington City Paper, has updated some of the world’s most famous photos to make them appear as though they were taken with an iPhone. The shots, altered by Instagram filters and flashes, imagine what would have happened if iPhone-photographers replaced photojournalists throughout history.
Some of the photographs are square so they limit our view of the event and one has been spoiled by a flash. Instagram lenses have been used to change the shots, including Kodot Verichrome Film, Kaimal Mark II Lens, Roboto Glitter Lens, Alfred Infrared Film, BlackKeys SuperGrain Film and Jimmy Lens.
