Tutorial Helps Photographers Create An Imaginary Instagram Girlfriend [Pics]

Japanese photographer Keisuke Jinushi posted a visual guide on how to pretend to have a partner and create “couples” pictures.

Japanese photographer Keisuke Jinushi has posted a visual guide displaying how to pretend to have a girlfriend online. The tutorial shows the creation of “couples” photos through Instagram shots by only using the photographer’s hand.

He used some foundation, bright nail polish and a spotty scrunchie to transform his right hand so it looked like a girl’s. Then he staged various photos in different locations, taking them from strategic angles and using a retro filter to create the desired effect.

Click through to see Keisuke’s images, which show his “girlfriend” squeezing his face, drawing on him while he’s asleep, feeding him a donut, and wiping ketchup from around his mouth:
