Building miniature models may be enough for some people, but Swedish artist Michael Johansson wasn’t satisfied. As a result, he has created a series of life-size injection-molded assembly kits that consists of boats, gardening tools, and other everyday objects.

Seeing as injection-molded toys were a childhood favorite of many, why not create a life-size version that can be enjoyed by adults?

Creating the pieces involved breaking down the original objects into various components that could then be rebuilt at a later stage. While breaking the objects down is important, Johansson also urges his viewers to look at the components of each object and see how they relate to one another.
