PSFK’s Future of Home Living experience is a comprehensive look into the technologies and services that make up the home of tomorrow. Informed by an in-depth report detailing the major themes and trends of modern urban living and coming developments, the free public exhibit in NYC is PSFK’s first such event and has been a great success. Located at 101w15, the exhibit is open to anyone to come see the home of the future from Tuesday – Saturday, 12 – 7pm until August 16th with a free RSVP.

After the launch party last Monday, the exhibit’s first week was a whirlwind of events, press tours and demos. Here’s what people are saying about PSFK’s Future of Home Living experience.

Where the exhibition goes above and beyond is imagining how all of these different tools, innovations, and gizmos can work together in a complete environment. Dwell

With the UN claiming that a population of 10 billion will inhabit the earth by 2050, and that 75% of those people will live in cities, PSFK is moving in the right direction thinking on a small scale. Cool Hunting

It was a great exhibition for us to see, particularly given some of the projects we have going on at the moment. Everyone left with new ideas and excitement around things that they had seen. Well done for pulling this all together and for the press it’s getting. Marcus Oliver, Partner, Farhrenheit 212.

The transforming furniture movement is gaining momentum as a way to save money, materials and valuable space, but it’s still a bit hard to find good options. That’s why the Inhabitat team was really excited to discover a whole array of double duty furniture at PSFK’s Future of Home Living exhibit in NYC. Inhabitat

The Future of Home Living Exhibition in Chelsea [is] a multimedia experience that investigates how trends in design, technology, and sustainability are influencing households, and the impact these factors will have on the routines of future generations of urban natives. The fascinating, interactive space brings to life customizable home solutions for savvy urban dwellers. Portable

The key take-away for brands is the need to creative products and services that are multi-functional, connected, customizable and mobile. Rick Liebling

You can stop by anytime between 12pm and 7pm with an RSVP, but there are demos and exclusive tours between 12pm and 1pm every day. See the current list of events here, and stay tuned for more workshops and tour announcements.

Hope to see you there!
