Public relations firm Edelman has released the second of six installments in the ‘Words of a Generation‘ series, this time focusing on the 1970s generation in Singapore. This research and short film project documents the lives of people who have lived through, and are simultaneously pushing rapid transformation in society.
The Singapore edition features intimate interviews that show the personal perspective of Singaporeans born in the ’70s on a range of topics. This generation was the first born into Singapore as the economic powerhouse we know today, and the country has pinned its hopes for the future on them.
In the interviews with ten participants from diverse backgrounds, the topics of Love, Work, Explore, Play, Consume, Dream and Connect are all covered. These provide honest and heartfelt insights into the joys and struggles of their childhood, their relationships with their parents and their children, and moments where some of them may have “slipped through the cracks”.
