Seoul-based eyewear brand grafik:plastic created a new packaging design for a promotional campaign that featured images of its customers. Profile photos were printed on the paper slips that fit inside the transparent glasses cases, to show how eyewear can change each person’s face.
A customer’s new pair of glasses are placed inside the case, on top of the image, so it appears as though the person is modelling the glasses. This way, customers are invited to become part of the brand’s packaging as a face of the campaign.
The Dieline reports that the back of the photos features a user manual, company history, quality claim and a suggestion that the case could alternatively be used to store pens or jewelry. Other new components for the campaign included paper bags also featuring faces and a white cleaner fabric reading “I can see clearly now.”
