The car brand showcases the successes of Project Drive-In through a video called The Reveal.
This summer Honda launched its Project Drive-In campaign, a movement to save drive-in theaters across America by helping them upgrade to digital projectors, which can cost at least $75,000 plus installation fees.
Project Drive-In initially wanted to save five drive-ins, but they were able to save nine and documented the owners’ reactions when they were told they won a digital projector for their drive-in theater.
Honda released the video, The Reveal, to show how crowdfunding helped save these local and mostly family-owned businesses.
The campaign will continue to raise funds to save more drive-ins by the end of the year.
